About the creators
Fernando Ruiz graduated with a BFA from Cadwell College, then attended The Kubert School in 1991. In addition to his work for Archie Comics, Fernando has also worked as a commercial illustrator with experience in toy design, book illustration, story boarding and much more. Fernando currently continues to write and draw for Archie Comics as well as teach at The Kubert School.
Bob, a graduate of The Kubert School, is an illustrator with comic book training commercially freelancing since 1981. Starting out with a ten year run as artist/writer for Petersen Publishing’s CARtoons Magazine, ad agency assignments, and miscellaneous comic book work, he later created 45 fine art paintings for the award winning print series Slot Car Thrillustrations and Mighty Fine Art. He continues to freelance and currently teaches at The Kubert School.
Fabio Redivo earned a degree from the University of Fine Arts of São Paulo in Graphic Design and later graduated from The Kubert School. Through A Wave Blue World, he was invited to work at a Kubert School studio, Art Agency, where he was involved in Joe Kubert projects and PS Magazine for the army and worked for Archie Comics as an inker. Currently, Fabio continue his design work for AWBW and also is contracted to The Kubert School as an instructor.
Born in Neptune, New Jersey, Anthony Marques is a freelance comic book artist. Viewing the film, Superman The Movie, as a young boy ignited a lifelong passion for comic books. Anthony is a 2011 graduate of The Kubert School in Dover, NJ. Some freelance assignments include working for Joe Kubert’s production company Telegraphics, MADA Design, Crayola, and designing the logo for Six Flags Great Adventure’s Fright Fest character, The Ghoulmaster. When he isn’t drawing, Anthony spends free time with his wife, Jackie, and their dog Spikey Mikey.
